USE LICS AS A RESOURCE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEXINGTON, SC – Attention Lexington County Residents: LICS is open and ready to serve those affected by the flooding, providing both short time and long term solutions.
We can help with food, clothing, linens, cleaning products, toiletries and hygiene items, household appliances, pet food, and prayer, among other things. We also have resources available to help rehouse folks if needed.
If you or someone you know is in need of ANYTHING both short term and long term, please send them to LICS Monday – Friday, between 9 AM – 4 PM. We are located at 216 Harmon Street, Lexington SC 29072. If they cannot get to us, we have arranged through our member churches, for transportation to and from LICS for those that need it.
Please call the LICS Flood Hotline if you are IN NEED of our services or transportation to us. 803-351-3681. Feel free to share this number.
If you are looking to donate, we have a few specific needs at this moment. Rubber gloves, masks, mops, brooms, plastic coolers, plastic storage tubs with lids, and giftcards for victims.
If you have truckloads of items, we urge you to contact either Christ Central Ministries in Columbia (Kerry Breen) at 803-600-0717 or Flo with God Cares Charities at 803-799-3535 for the Southeast Columbia area. They have capacity to take these truckloads.
