LICS is here to provide food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, referrals and counseling to individuals and families in need.
Donation Center - Food Pantry
We receive food, clothing and merchandise everyday at our Donation Center. Clothing and housewares are made ready to sell and food is stored and sorted to be ready to give to clients.
The LICS Thrift Shop sells used clothing and other treasures at low cost to the public. Clients can shop at no cost in the shop.
If you are a Lexington County resident needing assistance in a crisis situation, please come to our office. Our services include food, clothing, and limited financial assistance (when available) for rent, electric bills, prescriptions, water, and automobile gas.
We rely on our dedicated volunteers and sponsors to carry out our mission. Volunteers at LICS give of their time and talents to help our neighbors in crisis. If you’re looking for a way to help people in need, consider volunteering or becoming a sponsor with LICS.
The purpose of our thrift store is to provide for those in need. When our Lexington neighbors arrive in the social services department and qualify for clothing and household items, they are directed to shop at our thrift shop at no cost.
LICS – Lexington Interfaith Community Services is a local interfaith social services ministry serving families and individuals struggling to meet their basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter. Our service area includes Lexington County.
